NetworkObjects enables low volume tasks in service provider's operations and engineering organizations to be executed more efficiently and to be partially automated. Automation of low volume tasks, a losing proposition some might say. However there is value in streamlining the 'long tail' of operational and engineering tasks in a service provider organization.

Most of the solutions proposed by the industry only make sense for high volume tasks though. It is often overlooked that significant productivity gains can also be achieved in low volume tasks. They range from day-to-day operational tasks (e.g. design of custom solutions for business customers) to quarterly activities (e.g. reporting and budgeting). When faced with such tasks, users have often no choice but use systems that were designed for another purpose or build their own tools. Both strategies suffer from pitfalls, such as excessive customizations, unmet user expectations or lack of support.
