The core of NetworkObjects consists of the NetworkObjects engine. It supports several business intelligence applications which are accessed through a broad set of reports. The NetworkObjects reports are designed to provide users with immediate, one-click access to network resource information that is presented and packaged according to their business needs.
The following applications and report packages are currently offered within NetworkObjects:
- Network on-demand documentation package for visual exploration of the network resources (Network exploration).
- Capacity management for analysis of network resource consumption (Resource capacity management).
- Configuration management for discovery of anomalies (Resource configuration management).
- Quick query & search tools for identification and analysis of specific network resources (Search engine).
- Incident simulator for analysis and simulation of network faults and outages (Incident Simulation).
- KPI dashboards for steering the evolution and optimization of the network resources (KPI dashboards)
- Inventory analysis of installed hardware like shelves, cards, subcards and ports (Inventory Analyser)
- Circuit routing engine (CRE)
- Network logger tracking all changes to the network as new or removal of hardware items, modifying service parameters (NetworkLogger)
The NetworkObjects application is available for deployment on a Microsoft Windows 2003 or Windows XP server. The NetworkObjects database is available for deployment on Microsoft Windows 2003, Windows XP and Linux.
